More than just shelter, Grow Florin is a place where healing begins. Through trusted partnerships and human-centered design, we aim to:

Hope Cooperative is Grow Florin’s lead operator and service provider. With over 40 years of experience delivering supportive housing and mental health services in Sacramento, Hope Cooperative helps residents transition into permanent housing through: onsite behavioral health support, case management, and job training, all aimed at fostering sustainable communities and providing effective transitional housing solutions.

Enki Development Group is the visionary behind Grow Florin’s innovative modular housing, which plays a crucial role in creating supportive housing solutions. By manufacturing locally with US-Offsite Modular Buildings in Redding, Enki Development Group has managed to keep costs low while ensuring high quality and sustainability for these transitional housing units.
With a construction cost of $75K per unit, each home is fully electric and energy-efficient, designed to promote wellness and dignity within sustainable communities.

The Florin area was once home to a vibrant Japanese American farming community. Despite hardships, including WWII internment, families rebuilt and left a lasting legacy. Grow Florin honors this history through supportive housing initiatives, promoting sustainable communities by planting cherry blossom, magnolia, and citrus trees, and engaging in community storytelling and cultural recognition that reflects the importance of transitional housing.

Transitional housing serves as a vital link between emergency shelter and permanent homes, especially for older adults and veterans facing behavioral health challenges. This supportive housing phase is essential for their recovery and ongoing support.
By providing stable homes alongside mental health care, we can reduce ER visits, hospitalizations, and incarceration, ultimately fostering sustainable communities and building long-term pathways to independence.
